WOYWW - 4 May 2011

Another Wednesday.. and it's May already! How did that happen?! Where the heck has this year gone - it seems to be flying by!

Anyhoo... Wednesday means it's once again time to peruse the workdesks of the world by following the links over at Julia's Stamping Ground blog. :)

Here's my desk this morning:

Nothing much exciting to look at really but the debris on the desk relates to some interesting projects. There are the Adirondack colour washes I used to make some CJ pages, there are the new journalling pens that I used to create an art journal page.... and there is a stamp mounted on an acrylic block... a stamp that I made myself using the Imagepac stampmaker goodies that I bought off eBay!! :D This stamp was a test - my first attempt at using the system - and it worked great! So now I am looking forward to playing with the software to create my own templates and make my own stamp designs. :)

There's also some random bits on the desk, like my youngest daughter's birth certificate that I need to take into the bank to open her savings account and a box of paperclips, of which I used one to attach my youngest daughter's passport photos to her passport application form!

Hope you're enjoying your Wednesday - it's looking like a lovely sunny day here in W Yorks... and I'm going to be spending most of it dashing around to various appointments!

Thanks for stopping by. :)

Morning Ali, the Imagepac stampmaker thingy sounds interesting - and making your own stamps - I'm impressed. I'm not sure I could do that even with the help of this software. I look forward to seeing what your first finished project with this stamp. Have a great week. Elizabeth x #38

YOur desk is interesting - I understand the paper clips and the birth certificate - after all, things I need to do are left on my desk...but tell me...did you clean shoes this morning or is the brush part of a technique I haven't stumbled across yet?

I have no idea what an imagepac system is, but I'm sure it is something you can't live without (grin). I could never leave a birth certificate or passport application on my work desk. They would be relegated to the office. I'm sure glad you have everything under control for this first week in May. Happy WOYWW (#6).

You look as if you've been very busy. The shoe brush makes me wonder though.

 Okay, look... the "shoe brush" is part of the Imagepac kit! :D

It's used for cleaning the excess gel off the stamp once it's been exposed.

What a busy desk. Like you say parts of fun things done. I heard that the Imagepac is a load of fun and easy to use. Friend has one and love it. Sorry I am late getting around this week but I haven't felt well! Thanks for sharing. Vickie #36
