WOYWW - 16 May 2012

Another Wednesday is upon us and time for crafters the world over to share a peek at their workdesks.

So here we go. Are you ready for this? Good. Prepare to be amazed folks, because....

I've actually tidied!!

I know it may not look much different in the main picture but rest assured you can definitely see more desk than before. And look:

You can actually see desk - full stop - on the previously overflowing spare desk!! Woot!

And I've even cleared most of the floor... cos I was in danger of starting to lose the narrow pathway between door and chair!

So other than tidying, I have actually been doing a bit of crafting, as evidenced by the desk view today. I'm off for a regional training day on Saturday (never been before so well looking forward to it!) so I've been hard at work making my name badge and playing around with some ideas for my display project and some swaps. Fun fun fun.

Speaking of fun fun fun, I really must get to bed cos it's silly o'clock and mum and I are taking the kids to the soft play in the morning... which, based on past experience, will involve me crawling/climbing/running around the place chasing after/retrieving/aiding/removing from the bottom of slides etc etc etc said kids! Wish me luck!

As long as there's a walkway, it just means you enjoy the crafting too much! Have fun! Karen 99 x

Good to 'see' all of your workspace, not just your desk. Always enjoy having a nosey! #97

Yes, I can see the difference, Ali, and you do need a path to your chair. Hope you have a great time with the kids today. Elizabeth x #42

This made me smile thinking back 18 months or so when you had a room with 2 huge very bare desks and a pc, and not alot more on it. Where are those bare desks now, lol

Love your crafty space. I can totally see you cleaned. I also like your alpha in use storage (the IMEE on the video monitor). lol. Totally something I would do while working. Your card is also way cute. I love hot air balloons.

Hi Ali, the tape rolls are tissue type tape, three thicknesses and patterns. They're Michaels own brand, I haven't used them yet but if I like them they have lots of other colour packs available.

Hi Ali . . . have fun at the Regional Training Day. I only managed to make 10 swaps, but wished I'd made more . . . just sayin'! I thoroughly enjoyed it and found it useful and it was my first one too!

Thanks for visiting me,

Oh you are well brave to show both the desk AND the floor!! I must tip-toe across the floor, leaping over piles of crafty goodness - well, YESTERDAY I had to. TODAY my floor is clean, pristine and obstacle free, hence my late arrival for WOYWW!

Love ya Ali for being REAL. Some of those Ever-so-tidy desks are just a tad TOO PERFECT!! I am in a mess 5 minutes after beginning.

Tidy desk...hmm...okay I admit I can see some desk, but you have such a lot of stuff. Obviously lots of fun to be had with all that creative stash!

Oh I remember soft play...so good luck ;D

Yup, you've got to keep the access to the desk open, so worth the work!! Enjoy the trai Ning day, I. Know y demo Laura has really enjoyed hers.

Wow! Floor AND desk space all in one fell swoop. I am impressed. Hubby accuses me of trying to build a barrier of stuff between me and the outside world sometimes. Not a bad idea, really. It's looking good and you are still creating, so that is much awesomeness.

Well done doing some tidying, Ali. I keep having a go myself, but never get far enough to keep up with the subsequent mess I make lol! I have the same problem, keeping a walkway clear to the door!

Thanks for your lovely comment on my blog, and I'm glad you enjoyed my hubby's card. I can't wait to see his face when I give it to him on Saturday!

Happy belated WOYWW,
