Regular readers of this blog will know that I am a huge fan of Sweet Pea Stamps' gorgeous stamps... and I was, and still am, thrilled to be invited to join their Design Team with a particular focus on working with their new line of digital stamps. I've often waffled before on this blog about how I like to work with digi stamps and how I love the instant gratification aspect of shopping for digi stamps. :)
However, I do still like to work with rubber stamps too... and not all of Sweet Pea's fabulous range of stamps is available as digi. So when I saw the new releases from Elisabeth Bell, available only in red rubber, I just *had* to get these sweet little mermaids for my collection! :)

So here's a bit of an extra card from me, on top of my weekly Digi DT offering, using Elisabeth Bell's Starr stamp:
Isn't she just gorgeous? I love the cute roundness of her features and her beautiful flowing hair, and the coy way she's looking up at us. I coloured her with Promarkers, using aquatic shades of blue and green, and used a Flexmarker pen for a paler wash of colour for the water:
I kept the card pretty simple, using a cream card base and a gorgeous filigree paper from Papermania. I die-cut a pretty frame from cream card and trimmed the image to fit inside it and then added a few layered flowers to finish:
Et voila. A very quick and simple - but really pretty - card. :)
